Old Cuban

The drink with which I toasted my friend, Jana’s, birthday. Good times and good drink. This was served at Dive Bar & Lounge in Austin, Texas.  According to the menu, an Old Cuban had gold rum, sugar, fresh lime juice, fresh mint and Cava.  I could have sworn I saw the bartender slip in some Worcestershire Sauce, but don’t quote me on that.

Sangria in a plastic cup. Not the way I usually drink it, but it was at a party, by the pool, in the heat of a Texas Summer–I’ll take it.
