Broiled shrimp, roasted red and yellow bell peppers, roma tomatoes, chili oil, fresh cilantro, mozzarella, parmesan cheese and crushed red chilis

Green Chile Pork Taco

This is a Green Chile Pork Taco from Torchy’s Tacos in Austin, Texas. It has slow-roasted pork carnitas simmered with green chilies and topped with queso fresco. They serve it with tomatillo sauce on a fresh corn tortilla. Good stuff!

BBQ Chicken Pizza

Brussel Sprouts

Brussel sprouts from last night’s dinner. They were quartered, seasoned and baked on a cookie sheet. We added a little fresh squeezed lemon to them when served.

Old Cuban

The drink with which I toasted my friend, Jana’s, birthday. Good times and good drink. This was served at Dive Bar & Lounge in Austin, Texas.  According to the menu, an Old Cuban had gold rum, sugar, fresh lime juice, fresh mint and Cava.  I could have sworn I saw the bartender slip in some Worcestershire Sauce, but don’t quote me on that.
