    YUMMMMAROOO!!!
Is there an actual recipe I can find somewhere?

Not really, I just slapped this stuff together from leftovers and ingredients I had on hand in the fridge and pantry. I wasn’t following a recipe.

Looks delicious, can you share what you slapped together to make this?

Thanks for the complement and your interest in the salad, Sandra. The salad tasted as good as it looked.

      Here ya go:
Romain lettuce, leftover grilled chicken fajita meat–sliced into strips (dark meat is best tasting, but white meat will do), Kalamata olives, sliced almonds, crumbled feta, Cajun seasoning (specifically, a generous amount of Tony Chachere’s Original Creole Seasoning), Balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil.

And don’t forget a slice of crusty bread to sop up the bottom of the bowl. 🙂

Cajun seasoning in salad dressing? I love it! Will be sure to try that next time I make salad. Making dressing fresh is always so much better. Thanks for sharing 🙂

Oh, and a little secret is that I always let a little of the brine splash into the salad when I add the olives. 🙂

Oooooh, that’s a great idea! A little extra saltiness never hurt anyone. I will try that too!
